Soffit
A soffit is a part of the house that are visible from underneath the eaves or the edges of the roof. They are typically made of vinyl, metal, or wood, and provide a way to cover up unsightly structural elements, such as rafters or beams, while also providing ventilation. Soffits also help to keep out the weather and pests, and can even be used to help insulate a building from the outside elements.
A soffit roof repair occurs when a soffit—the underside of a roof’s overhang—needs to be repaired or replaced. This usually happens when it leaks, is damaged or worn, or has been poorly installed in the first place.
